Advantages
- $24-$26/hr based on experience
- 1-2 week contract
- Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
- Fully in office role
- 4% vacation pay
- On-site training provided
- Work for a large well known global company
Responsibilities
- Answer telephones and directs calls to the appropriate person
- Prepare, organize and schedule courier pick-ups
- Directing orders through email to the correct representative
- Daily mail distribution
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and demos
- Data entry using Excel
- Assist with creating and receiving purchase orders
- Manage internal and external meeting details including lunches, meeting room scheduling,
materials and room preparation.
- Manage in a timely and fiscally responsible manner travel arrangements including hotel,
flight, car rental and restaurant reservations as needed
- Assist in managing building maintenance and contractors
- Other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in reception and/or administration
- Intermediate computer processing skills including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Outgoing personality that makes great first impressions
- Detail oriented
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Ability to exhibit diplomacy and tact in dealing with a wide variety of people and positions
