Reporting to the Service Manager, the Reliability Engineer’s mission is to participate in the realization of his or her unit's business strategy by analyzing equipment failures and proposing effective solutions to remedy them. You thus analyze the equipment interventions’ history and enrich the documentation to facilitate future interventions. You also develop training programs aimed at transferring knowledge of best practices in the field to your business partners. Finally, you keep abreast of new technologies in preventive and predictive maintenance (PPM) in order to continually improve equipment reliability and contribute to achieving your department and other business units’ operational efficiency objectives.

...- Identify the causes of failures so that they can be remedied
- Share best practices in preventive maintenance with our business partners to facilitate maintenance work

- Prepare training programs intended for our business partners

- Monitor our business partners’ application of methods and technologies
- Verify documentation on work performed on equipment
- Expand documentation to improve future work
- Analyze equipment failures
- Propose solutions to improve equipment reliability
- Develop and update tools that will facilitate the achievement of increased reliability
