Responsibilities
Design, implement, and continuously expand data pipelines by performing extraction, transformation, and loading activities.
Required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications. This includes developing detailed programming specifications, writing and/or generating code, compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests.
Resolves and troubleshoots technical problems which arise during the use and operation of software packages, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion and migrations.
Developing SharePoint web parts, Developing APIs that manage SharePoint data like list items, documents, permissions, Integrate 3rd part apps with SharePoint apps, Connecting SharePoint apps to external databases.
Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint issues.
Project Specific Responsibilities:
Make the Financial Management Gateway (Online SharePoint) mobile friendly
Re-develop video summary list and migrating all current videos to MS Stream
Re-develop Eagle Awards, which is Finance Community nomination portal
Enhance Performant Measurement Tool including building new executive dashboards in Power BI
Enhance Comptroller General Academy
Re-develop custom reports for Google Analytics 4
Ongoing production support
Qualifications
General Skills:
Experience in programming and analysis; specialized software package support at the specified experience level.
Ability to collaborate with IT Professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
Experience in structured methodologies for the development, design, implementation and maintenance of applications.
Experience in design, code, test, debug and document applications.
Experience in the use of object and/or third generation language development tools.
Experience in one or more programming languages.
Experience in application design, latest design patters, deployment and troubleshooting.
Experience with relational and hierarchical database technologies.
Experience in the use of information retrieval packages using query languages.
Experience with one or more communications protocols.
Experience in structured methodologies for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of applications.
Experience eliciting and documenting information from diverse business area stakeholders and subject matter experts.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills.
A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines.
Full Stack Skills:
Proficient with both front end and back-end development, including any associated areas such as database design/management and DevOps.
Knowledge and experience with design and implementation of the overall web architecture.
Experience with implementation of approved user interface, design and deployment of database.
Knowledge and experience ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability.
Knowledge and experience with the design and construction of REST API services.
Knowledge and experience integrating front-end UI with the constructed API.
Knowledge and experience in design and implementation of continuous integration and deployment.
An excellent understanding of SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
Worked with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services for 7+ of years.
Knowledge of software development best practices for SharePoint (Code deployment & reviews).
Thorough knowledge of SharePoint Online and its features.
Knowledge and experience with ReAct, JavaScript, RestAPI, Github, HTML, CSS, SharePoint, Microsoft Ecosystem, Power BI, SQL.
Knowledge and experience with development tools such as NPM / NVM, TypeScript, Yeoman, PnP SPFx, webpack, and gulp.
