Responsibilities
• Review and assess business processes and technical specifications for CACC and simultaneous notification currently in place in Peel, Kitchener, Barrie, Guelph and Peterborough
• Engage stakeholders (including Ministry of Health, municipal fire services and fire CAD vendors) to understand local needs and technical requirements for integration between CACC and fire service CADs across the province
• Conduct interviews, evaluate, and document stakeholder requirements and business needs to support options development
• Identify detailed technical requirements for integrated HUB technology with a view to inform future procurement
• Conduct market research, develop options and make a recommendation for procurement and implementation, including compatibility with existing systems, critical success factors, costing and timing.
• Develop a report summarizing stakeholder engagement, findings, detailed echnical requirements, options considered, recommendation and implementation considerations.
• Ensure alignment with and adherence to Ontario Public Service policies and standards
• Participate in knowledge transfer
• Collecting, analyzing and summarizing business requirements
• Creating detailed business analysis and technical documentation
• Identifying problems, opportunities, and solutions for multiple stakeholder groups
• Developing engagement plans, conducting interviews and assessing stakeholder needs
• Conducting market research
• Specialized knowledge of CACC, CAD technology and integration solutions
• Knowledge of emergency telecommunications environment and stakeholders
Qualifications
· Analytical skills, critical thinking, risk assessment, cost-benefit analysis, strategic thinking to assess stakeholder needs in alignment with ministry objectives
· Experience working with emergency telecommunications stakeholders
· Specialized knowledge of CACC, CAD technology and single platform integration solutions (HUB)
