Responsibilities
The purpose of this RFS is to acquire 1 Solution Designer - Full Stack for the maintenance and support of the MLTSD CMS I&IT Replacement project. The services and deliverables to be provided by the vendor will include:
Monitoring the incidents, triage and resolve them as per SLA timelines.
Participating in a Scrum agile development team
Contributing to task planning, daily stand-ups, iteration demos, and review meetings
Implementing software code and supporting test (QA) artifacts based on defined user requirements (i.e. user stories)
Providing testing services of software features as delivered by the team.
Working in a technical environment that includes the Microsoft Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, .NET and Angular frameworks, and DevOps CI/CD processing using GIT-based source control.
Qualifications
Must have:
o C#, Angular 5+, SQL, GIT
o XML, JSON
o Web services
o Regression testing (manual and automated), including familiarity with web-based QA automation software such as Protractor, and supporting the use of such tools via coding
techniques
o Unit testing and test automation support (HTML 5, CSS3, Angular), Web APIs, and web services design, development, and testing
o .NET Core-based design, development, and testing
o Experience with Microservices and container-based platform development, delivery, and testing
CouchDb, PouchDb
o CI/CD pipeline setup and management
o Azure DevOps (VSTSS/TFS)
o Azure Cloud Development including PaaS and SQL services, or other cloud hosting technologies (e.g. Pivotal Cloud Foundry/PCF, Amazon Web Services/AWS, and Google Cloud Platform/GCP)
· Proven Experience with all stages of automated system implementation in large, complex, high-volume systems in Cloud environments, with online Mainframe Transactions
· Demonstrable knowledge and experience in working in accordance with policies and procedures of Ontario Public Service.
· A team player with the ability to work with competing priorities and strict deadlines.
· Proven ability to perform to successful completion assignments of high magnitude and complexity.
