Responsibilities
- Responsible for drivers files, applications, onboarding, reports and more
- Accident and incident reports and resolutions, primary contact for emergency
- - Identify driver violations and issue reports, support with compliance team on accident reports
- Monitor compliance performance reports, identify high-risk drivers and develop proactive response
- Verification of driver equipment and violations: CVOR, US DOT, accident rates
- Review and update all drivers logs, handling audits
- Participate in health and safety meetings
- Ensure employees training in Dangerous Goods and WHMIS is completed
- Attend and participate in webinars and conferences pertaining to Safety and Compliance in the trucking industry
- Other related tasks
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year in a similar role in the trucking industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, French and English
- Great attention to detail, good time management and organizational skills
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of Canadian and US highways, safety and security practices - CVOR, US DOT FMCSR, Hours of Service, CSA, Load Securement, HazMat/Dangerous Goods, C-TPAT/FAST
- Previous experience as a Class 1 / Owner-Operator is an asset
