As a Seasonal Production Lead - Assembly & Packaging, you will be responsible for ensuring the on-time production and assembly of kits, ensuring the kits are produced rapidly and accurately. This role is responsible for providing guidance and instruction to the Assembly & Packaging team as well as monitoring the performance of the staff based on the established KPIs, the quality of the kits produced and the accuracy of the work method employed with the HACCP and SQF standards.

Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm

Responsibilities
* Oversee the Assembly & Packaging department’s day-to-day workflow and
assigns tasks;
* Ensure the on-time production and assembly of kits on their assigned line to
the established quality standards;
* Follow project instructions to closely ensure correct components are used;
* Perform tasks in a timely manner to meet and exceed department standards;
* Verify the quality of finished products;
* Ensure HACCP and SQF programs are implemented, maintained, and updated;
* Although this role does not directly manage employees, it is accountable for
quality, and productivity of their assigned projects and assembly lines;
* Coach, support, train and provide instruction to team members, ensuring that
they have a clear understanding of requirements and expectations;
* Measure and report team performance based on established KPIs, update team with metrics, and drive productivity improvements;
* Promptly raise concerns and/or issues to the manager in a timely manner;
*Identify and communicate ways to improve productivity and efficiency;
*Work proactively to prevent any potential line shutdown;
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a production lead role;
- High school education completed;
- Experience working in a warehouse in assembly and packaging;
- Team player that promotes a positive work environment;
- Bilingual (english - french)
- Knowledge of standards: HACCP, SQF, GFSI;
- Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment;
- Proactive and problem-solving skills;
- Great attention to detail and methodic;
- Strong work ethic and dependable;
- Demonstrated ability to work well with minimal supervision.
