Responsibilities
As a Senior Accountant/Analyst you will have the following experience:
* 5+ yrs in full cycle accounting
* AR, AP
* Account reconciliation (bank, prepaid expenses, accruals, deferred revenue)
* Month end close
* Financial Statement preparation (P&L balance sheet, cash flow statements)
* Inventory support (inventory counts)
* Financial Analysis
* Tax (gov't remittances)
* Payroll ( process payroll for the business unit - will train but must have aptitude to do so)
Qualifications
* Forensic mindset - are you solutions oriented, careful with the details, have an analytical mindset?
* 5+ yrs full cycle accounting
* Proven experience with inventory accounting
* Consolidated reporting experience an asset
* Budget and forecast support
* Working knowledge of IFRS
* Excel (pivots, look ups)
* Experience with US sales tax an asset
