We are hiring a Senior Business Analyst to join our client's team in Toronto for a 12-month contract, with opportunities for extension or conversion to a full-time position. Responsibilities
Lead other Business Analysts to ensure governance and consistency in requirements gathering and documentation.
Manage and deliver requirements work packages for high-risk, strategic, and regulatory projects.
-Develop delivery plans and manage requirements efforts, including cost, resource, and timeline estimation.
-Oversee interdependencies among multiple workstreams or projects.
-Ensure requirements are accurate, compliant, and testable.
-Engage and lead stakeholders to achieve final signoff on deliverables.
-Assess and manage risks, issues, and change requests.
-Document and analyze current processes to identify solutions.
-Analyze impacts on stakeholders, processes, and technology.
-Work with transaction monitoring and customer risk rating applications.
Qualifications
-University degree in business, finance, or a related discipline (Business Analysis accreditation is an asset).
-8–10 years of Business Analysis experience in the financial services industry using Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
-Proficient in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
-Familiarity with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) concepts, including KYC, CDD, LCTR, STR, and FINTRAC regulations.
-Experience in data analysis, data lineage, and source-to-target mapping.
-Proficiency with tools like SharePoint, JIRA, and Confluence.
-Strong communication, relationship management, and leadership skills.
-Self-motivated, proactive, and a team-oriented professional.
