This is a 6-month contract in Toronto, and there is a chance this contract will extend and convert to full time. This is a hybrid position with 2 days on-site.

Responsibilities
As a Senior Compliance Testing Analyst, you will:
- Plan and execute compliance testing programs, communicating results and documenting regulatory controls.
- Ensure key regulations and changes are captured in testing programs.
- Prepare documentation following established policies and standards.
- Track work efforts against budgets and provide recommendations for control improvements.
- Lead testing engagements and review the work of other testers.
- Interact regularly with business personnel to identify and risk-rate control gaps.
- Participate in business initiatives and contribute to team processes and improvements.
- Seek and implement process improvements for more efficient value delivery.
Qualifications
MUST HAVE:
- Strong Communication skills - both written and verbal
- Operational Audit/Testing experience (5-7 years)
- Ability to read & interpret regulations and understand how regulations impact business partners
- Strong Problem Solving & Critical Thinking skills: and ability to recommend value-added solutions, apply critical and strategic thinking to issues and make timely decisions.
- Strong Collaborative and Relationship Management skills at all levels
- Time management and Multitasking ability
NICE TO HAVE
- Accounting designation (i.e. CPA, CA) or Audit Designation (CIA)
- Risk management certificate
- Banking experience
- Wealth management experience
