Responsibilities
Reporting to the Controller and in collaboration with the finance team, the Senior Coporate Accountant plays a key role in managing the company's financial and operational capital by participating in the preparation of financial statements and other financial reports.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, cash flows and associated notes, account analysis, reconciliations, budgets and internal control maintenance.
- Preparation of Management Reporting including analysis on financial results/budgets, performance metrics, and benchmarks
- Dealing with year end audits including preparation of relevant files and resolving issues.
- Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions
- Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, control and provide support on special requests when necessary.
- Ad-hoc projects
- All other related tasks
Qualifications
- CPA, a major asset
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Ability to take initiative
- Be Bilingual (French and English) and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Demonstrate leadership
- Advanced Excel (Search V, Pivot Tables)
