Responsibilities
As a member of the Finance team, you will support the financial reporting group to grow by participating in the process of preparing quarterly and annual financial reports. You will have to perform technical accounting analyses and participate in various "ad hoc" projects within the organization. You will also be a key player in internal compliance management.
- Preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports of 3 legal entities and ensuring consistency of these reports
- Participate in the internal and external audit process
- Prepare various reports in support of the financial statements
- Produce accounting reports in accordance with IFRS
- Play a key role in the design, implementation and functional testing of internal controls in various projects.
- Participate in special projects (internal controls, treasury, acquisitions, process improvement)
- All other related tasks
Qualifications
- CPA designation obtained or in the process of being obtained, a considerable asset
- At least 5 years of experience in an audit, general accounting (full cycle) or finance role
- Solid knowledge of IFRS
- Strong technical understanding of accounting and financial reporting
- Excellent command of Excel (Lookup, Pivot Tables)
- Bilingualism (oral and written)
