Responsibilities
In this exciting role the Senior QA Engineer will play an important role in supporting several products that drive guest engagement, loyalty, and conversion across multiple channels. They will work closely with Solution Architects and Engineers to implement a QA strategy and set up, maintain, and perform automated test scenarios. Their duties include:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient automated test frameworks.
- Implement automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with software developers to integrate test automation into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test scenarios and ensure adequate test coverage.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test documentation.
- Identify, analyze, and report software defects with a high level of detail.
- Work closely with development teams to prioritize and facilitate the resolution of identified issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering with 8+ years' experience
- 8+ years' experience with key QA automation tools: Python, Selenium / Selenium WebDriver, PyTest, Postman, TestRail
- Strong understanding of basic programming concepts and data structures
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, AWS CDK, AWS Synthethic Canaries , AWS RDS PostgreSQL Aurora , - - Terraform, Jenkins, HashiCorp Vault, Kafka, Lambda, API Gateway)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Splunk, DataDog
- Experience with day-to-day tools such as Jira, Gitlab, PagerDuty, ServiceNow is nice to have
- Experience with integrating performance testing / monitoring into GitLab CI/CD Pipelines is nice to have
