As an inventory associate, you will be supervising the day-to-day pick and packing of customer orders in an accurate and timely manner,
know the exact number of orders that need to be filled every day, and take action to meet the client's fulfillment guidelines with accuracy and efficiency.
The warehouse is easily accessible by public transport.15 minutes from Namur metro and 4 walk minutes from 115 bus stop
Possible working hours :
Day Shift
Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Salary: $ 18.50/hour
Evening Shift
Monday - Friday 4:00 pm to 11:45 pm
Salary: $ 18.50$/hr

Responsibilities
-Supervise the day-to-day pick and pack of customer orders in an accurate and timely manner;
-Know the exact number of orders that need to be filled every day, and take action to meet our fulfillment guidelines with accuracy and efficiency;
-Ensure the line is stocked with merchandise and ready to pick orders;
-Ensure all supplies are ready to pack orders;
-Spot check orders to ensure accuracy;
-Ensure goods are packed safely for damage free shipment;
-Ensure the space around the picking line is highly organized;
-Collaborate with Shipping and Receiving and replenishment partners to ensure stock is in place, and completed orders are taken to shipping;
-Ensure line and area is clean, stocked and ready to go for start of shift the next day;
-Ensure compliance to all SOP’s for quality and operational standards for the assigned project/ line;
-Ensure compliance to all CFIA/ HACCP standards for the facility;
-Lead and motivate team to ensure quality and performance standards are met;
-Coach, support and provide instruction to team members, ensuring that they have a clear understanding of requirements and expectations;
-Support the line team by encouraging, checking in, coaching, training and answering questions throughout the day;
-Schedule the pick and pack line with skill/experience, use mentors and peer trainers disbursed throughout to help strengthen the line;
-Observe, measure and report team performance based on established KPIs, update team with metrics, and drive productivity improvements;
-Ensure all health, safety, and security measures are followed;
-Be ready to jump in at any time and help pick and pack.
Qualifications
The shift lead must have...
- 1 to 2 years experience, prior experience working in the shipping and logistics industry.
- Bilingual
- Ability to work variable shifts, from weekends to evenings, as
required.
-Experience using Warehouse Management Systems RF Scanner,
ERP software
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing;
- Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to multi-task;
- Accurate, versatile, detail-oriented and self-motivated.
