Position: Shipper/ Receiver
Reports to: Warehouse Manager
Base rate: $22-$24
Shift : 12-830 or 1-930pm (must be okay for both times)
Potential start date: Mon, Oct 7th
Duties:
forklift- reach truck/sit down cb
order picking, cycle counting and shipping functions- 33% each
courier systems, ups,
12-830pm // 1- 930pm
each portion will require them to use forklift
except for shipping
system in the computer is apocor/SAP exp
any LTL - mosaic is the name of the program
ups, freightcom, lumis

Responsibilities
- forklift reach and sit down counterbalance
- order picking, cycle counting and shipping- 33% each
- knowledge of courier systems
- Safely operate mechanical and power vehicles to load and unload finished goods
-Accurately pick , pack, seal and label, verify and scan customer orders
-Understanding the elements of order fulfilment
-Building skids and/or small shipping orders
-Loading and unloading trucks as required
-Prepare all necessary shipping documents such as work orders and BOL
-Contact couriers and transport companies for shipments requiring pickup
-Ensure that shipping area is organized and clean at all times
-Work in accordance to all Health and Safety policies and procedures
-Ensure the forklift and all other equipment is maintained and is in safe condition
- Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment
- Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of shipment
-Adhere to shipping and receiving policies/procedures, and regulatory compliance procedures
-Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and/or standards and complete appropriate documentation as require
- Ensure all orders are accurately shipped/received in a timely manner
-Ensure compliance is met and maintained for all transportation and customs regulations including C-TPAT, NAFTA and make recommendations for continuous improvements and compliance
- Responsible for the accuracy of RF and investigate and take corrective action where necessary
- Other duties as assigned.
- SAP experience an asset
Qualifications
High school diploma required
2 years warehousing experience
Certificated forklift (Counter balance) and Raymond Reach experience
Strong ability to prioritize, multi-task and problem solving in a fast pacedenvironment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
