Job Title: Shipper/Receiver
Shift: 8am-5pm
Pay Rate: 25$/hr

Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare and complete warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule and examine paperwork to ensure order and shipping accuracy (Includes packing, wrapping, labelling, loading)
Arrange and prepare courier shipment paperwork and schedule pickups and deliveries.
Routinely evaluate, establish and maintain approved carrier lists
Load and Unload all types of trucks using the appropriate material handling equipment.
Purchase, receive and process warehouse and office supply orders. Log orders and report discrepancies, damage, etc.
Unpack and examine incoming shipments, inspect and reject damaged items, record overages/shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and discrepancies. Route items to appropriate departments or warehouse location(s).
Physically sort and receive goods into the facility and transact into SAP. Address any discrepancies and work to resolve them with the appropriate department or individual.
Scan and store inbound and outbound shipping paperwork for future reference. Distribute notification of shipment to collegues for invoicing or further processing purposes.
Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
Pick parts required for commissioning / Customer Service, and place in project bins
Cycle counting and other inventory management related tasks.
Fill out daily mobile equipment inspection before use
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
Understand and follow safety regulations and identify safety concerns.
Adhere to the Quality System and participate in continuous improvement and JHSC.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Ability to multi-task
Current forklift license (required) Counterbalance
Shipping/receiving experience
Experience with preparation of shipping documents
RF scanner experience
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak, hear and to use simple hand tools. Employee will regularly be required to walk, stand for long periods of time, climb ladders, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment is indoors in a warehouse setting. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
