Salary range for Shipping/Receiving  : $ 21.63 / hour

Schedule : Must be available to work NIGHT shifts (5pm - 5am) on a 2 week rotation; there is potential to move to days

Develop your talents by applying your expertise within our facility in Piscataway, as the Shipping/Receiving :

• Safety operates a forklift to move materials to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks.

• Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand or using lifting devices, such as forklifts.

• Perform routine pre-and post- inspections on forklift equipment to ensure operational safety.

• Maintain accurate inventory records through proper documentation and labeling of materials.

• Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

• Communicate effectively with warehouse and production staff to ensure efficient material handling and movement.

• Report any mechanical or operational problems with the forklift to the appropriate personnel.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Valid forklift operator certification or license is preferred but completion of forklift training / certification will be required. 

• Previous experience with SAP and RF scanners is preferred.

• Proven experience as a forklift operator in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures for operating a forklift.

• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding role.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Capable of working independently, as well as in a team setting as required.
