Our client is looking for a Heavy Duty Mechanic (Off-Road) Shop Foreman who is a hands on leader to manage technicians and diligent enough to oversee the day to day operations in a manufacturing and production environment.
Our client is a leading provider of heavy-duty equipment maintenance and repair services. They specialize in servicing of Heavy Duty machinery and other heavy equipment used in construction, mining, and various industrial applications.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shop Foreman (with a journeyman or red seal in HET / H.D. Mechanic Off-Road ticket) to lead their team of dedicated mechanics. If you possess a strong work ethic and can be entrusted to run a productive workshop, then this role is for you.
Only fully ticketed Journeyman or red seals will be considered for this role.

Responsibilities
As a Heavy Equipment Foreman, you will play a vital role in managing a team of 3-4 heavy-duty mechanics. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Supervising and overseeing the repair, rebuild, and preventive maintenance activities for dozers, excavators, augers, front-end loaders, dump trucks and more.
Ensuring that all work is performed safely and in accordance with industry standards.
Scheduling repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently to meet customer deadlines.
Providing price quotes to customers for repair and maintenance services.
Conducting daily toolbox meetings to ensure team communication and coordination.
Collaborating with the sales team to address customer service issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
Working closely with the branch manager to manage inventory and order necessary parts.
Qualifications
What you bring:
Journeyman or Red Seal certification in Heavy Duty Mechanic Off-Road or Heavy Equipment Technician.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with Caterpillar equipment.
Ability to perform Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program (CVIP) inspections is a plus.
Experience with John Deere, Komatsu, and Volvo equipment is a strong asset.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a team.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in computer applications for job-related tasks.
