Position: Pallet Builder
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Time: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Pay rate: $23/hr
This is a long term contract position with a high possibility of permanence after the probation period
Advantages

- $23/h starting salary
- Day shift, Monday-Friday 7:00 am- 3:30 pm
Responsibilities
- Build skids to specifications as specified in the production orders
- Knowledge of both manual and electrical tools, basic math skills including geometry and trigonometry
- Must be comfortable working with power tools, saws and grinder
- Coordinate with supervisors and operators for any additional skid-building
- Maintain a clean and organized pallet area
- Adhere to safety and health policies and company rules
- Perform other duties as directed by management
Qualifications
- Requires ability to understand and follow general and/or written instructions. May involve use of basic math
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Experience with air nail gun and circular saw
- Experience with hand tools (electrical or manual)
- Six months' experience in the same or related tasks is preferable
- Ability to work accurately and quickly
- Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift
