We’re looking for an experienced buyer with a background in the manufacturing sector. If you have experience with dealing with a larger numbers of PO, and is passionate about negotiating, creating and managing relationships and you’d be a great fit for this role.

Responsibilities
- Your work will ensure continuous alignment of supplier strategy and business, including manage supplier relationships and quality programs and you will be primary contact between operational clients and key suppliers.
- You will be managing and upholding agreements for corporate overhead and operational supplies.
- Identifying strategies for cost reduction and service enhancement.
- Collaborating with colleagues in category management and engages with interdisciplinary teams to apply agreements enterprise-wide.
- Performing regular analysis on categories, supplier evaluations, forecasts, and estimates savings and rebates.
- Making suggestions to guarantee the supply chain is secure, eco-friendly, and efficiently managed.
- Achieving specific savings and enhances performance, taking responsibility for reducing costs and improving supply chain performance in designated categories.
Qualifications
- 8 plus years of direct experience in buying and sourcing in the manufacturing sector
- A track record of successful sourcing, procurement, and establishing strong supplier partnerships.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience on overseeing contracts., negotiation techniques and their application in everyday business dealings.
- Capable of juggling multiple tasks and setting priorities efficiently.
- Self-driven, with a keen eye for detail and the capacity to handle sensitive or restricted information.
- Skilled in ensuring the quality and timely delivery of goods.
- Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and planning capabilities.
- Independent worker, able to operate effectively with minimal supervision.
- Professional demeanor and a positive attitude. Upholds the business ethics and values of the company.
