Responsibilities
• Provide product solutions and expertise for incoming inquiries from customers.
• Review and evaluate plans and specifications to determine customer requirements.
• Cross reference parts or equipment to meet customer needs.
• Determine commercial HVAC-R equipment requirements for clients, including Low-Temp, Comfort Cooling, Heating, and Ventilation.
• Assist with projects, collaborating with mechanical contractors and engineers.
• Prepare quotations and proposals based on project plans/specifications.
• Create technical drawings and data sheets for client approval.
• Provide material lists and quotations to contractors through written and verbal communication.
• Process orders in accordance with company policies and procedures, coordinating with purchasing, sales, logistics, and customers.
• Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction, resolving any issues in line with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
• Post-secondary education in HVAC or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in HVAC (an asset).
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel).
• Comfortable working with ERP software.
• Completion of sales-related training programs (an asset).
• High level of commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Self-motivated, organized, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to close sales and work under pressure.
• Good judgment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to problem solve and provide solutions based on customer needs and company objectives.
• Team player with the ability to work independently.
