Responsibilities
Interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and specifications to create precision tools and dies.
Set up and operate various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC machines
Inspect finished tools and dies for accuracy and quality.
Troubleshoot and repair existing tools and dies as needed.
Collaborate with production staff to ensure tools and dies meet production requirements.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Qualifications
Strong background with Lathe, CNC Milling and EDM Wire
Has experience with Mastercam and Solidworks
Has strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of tooling principles
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Great mathematical and analytical skills for measurements and calculations
