In-depth development of charter parties to ensure compliance.
Preparation and verification of invoices, including monitoring of irregular items.
Payment tracking with weekly summary to Department Manager.
Collaboration to clarify contractual interpretations.
- Costs
Responsibility for accuracy of commercial costs, with annual report on cost increases.
Assistance in setting up tools for accurate cost tracking.
- Performance Management and Administration
Production of ship-specific performance reports with investigation of non-conformities.
Creation of key performance indicators with non-conformance investigation.
Assisting in the preparation of out-of-service and non-performance claims.
Participation in monthly financial analysis of voyages.
Ensured compliance with ISO standards and company procedures.
Qualifications
Professional or college-level studies in Commerce or Accounting or equivalent.
Minimum 1-2 years' experience in accounting.
Good knowledge of MS Office suite.
Proficiency in SharePoint, Teams and Outlook, as well as the ability to learn other IT tools.
Experience in the maritime field is an asset.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and planning skills.
