Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for:
Receiving, processing, putting away, moving, order filling/picking, packaging, counting, and shipping of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies
Operating the following MHE: Stock Chaser
Utilizing RF scanner to receive, sort and put away orders
Heavy repetitive lifting of up to 50lbs on a frequent basis
Working from a variety of source documents to verify quantities, perform clerical duties and resolve discrepancies as required
Performing housekeeping functions and other warehouse support as required
Other duties as assigned from time to time
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
1-3 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
High School or equivalent level of education
Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50Lbs (typically an average of 40lbs)
Ability to meet physical demands (moderate to heavy lifting occasionally and continuous standing at work bench, gripping/pulling)
Ability to work in frequently changing temperatures
Ability to walk, stand, squat, twist, bend, and kneel for roughly 85% of the shift
Certificate in Transportation of Dangerous Goods would be deemed an asset, but not necessary
RF Scanner experience is an asset
Reading, writing, listening and basic math skills
Emphasis on safety in the workplace, adhering to all safety policies and programs in place
Organized and mindful of improving processes
Detail-oriented with a sense of urgency, performing all duties in an accurate and timely manner
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
