Job Description
► As per the established schedule, assist with performing the required maintenance on all stationary equipment, mobile plant equipment and building components of the Plant.
► Must be able to follow instructions and to understand basic mechanical directions regarding repairs and maintenance of plant equipment

► Will carry out regular inventory control procedures and advise Plant Supervisor/ Plant Manager when parts need to be ordered.
► Assist contractors and subcontractors with repairs or overhauls and with new equipment installations as required.
► Operate mobile equipment as required in the performance of job duties.
► Complete daily housekeeping assignments for screens, conveyors, motors, pulleys etc.
► Responsible for returning all tools to the shop after use & maintaining the shop
► Constantly monitor plant equipment when in process to pinpoint problems before they arise
► Fill out daily maintenance log sheet
► Be on call for maintenance issues that need to be completed off hours.
► Attend all Department meetings and health and Safety training.
► Weekends, Holidays and night shift work will be required.
Qualifications
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
Follow specific production standards and guidelines
May be required to work overtime and on-call
Must be mechanically inclined and willing to learn
