We are currently looking for a workshop foreman for a reputable dealership in the Anjou sector. Working on an evening shift, you will have to lead and build a new shift and ensure that it runs smoothly.
Advantages

- Four-day schedule
- Working days from Monday to Thursday
- Evening working hours from 2:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
- Starting salary between $75,000 and $85,000
- Full group insurance
- Group RRSPs
- Uniforms provided
- Cell phone and computer provided
Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Provide a high quality repair service
- Make checks of the work carried out by the team
- Check the progress of each repair during the shift.
- Handling customer complaints.
- Understand the terms of the manufacturer's warranties and policies
- Handling warranty claims
- Ensure that safety or manufacturer rules and procedures are respected
- Respond to telephone inquiries, follow up with customers and document the progress of the work.
- Review and invoice work orders.
- Manage technicians' time and priorities.
- Perform the distribution of work according to the technicians
- Ensure communication between day shift and evening shift technicians.
- Distribute the tasks to be performed by technicians
- Provide technical support to technicians and coach them.
- Employee schedule management
- Management of disciplinary files with the help of the director
Qualifications
The qualifications required for the position are:
- Training in diesel mechanics - heavy vehicles - Automotive - Construction machinery
- Strong experience in diesel vehicle maintenance
- 3 more years in mechanical workshop management
- French and English bilingualism
- Good communication and team management skills
