The Project Manager reports to the Manager, Workspace Services, Facilities Services, and oversees small to large projects. They manage the full project lifecycle assembling the design, planning, execution, and closing, including cost, schedule, and client relation management. The projects and service requests may vary in size and nature, focusing in the area of Capital Projects and Tenant improvements, with cost ranges of $100,000 to $5 million.

Responsibilities
Act as the primary interface for customized project delivery.
Ability to deliver project management concepts, practices and processes.
Exemplary vendor management; manage third party, internal/external resources to adhere to project.
Complete programming, space, and furniture plans using AutoCAD.
Follow organizational processes and best practices throughout multi-disciplinary project phases.
Promote Safety throughout all project phases.
Communicate clearly and responsively with team members.
Provide accurate cost estimates, forecasting, reporting and analysis of project budgets as it relates to the scope of the project and deliverables with cost savings initiatives paramount.
Negotiate and adapt to changes in scope, budget, and timelines.
Advise on products, finishes, materials, and furniture.
Interact efficiently and productively with business units.
Work with third party resource providers to acquire qualified resources.
Liaise with team members to align workload and manage workflow.
Provide project leadership and mentor project personnel when needed.
Establish an execution framework for quality, value, and timeliness.
Develop project documents, project status, and final project summary report.
Manage client relations and enhance customer satisfaction.
Implement effective change management process.
Capture project lessons learned and continuous improvement efforts.
Gather knowledge about similar projects and share with the team.
Complete presentations and charts to communicate plans.
Qualifications
10+ years demonstrated experience in Project Management for Tenant Improvement (TI) projects from ground-up to small and large renovations.
PMP accreditation is an asset.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Bachelor of Interior Design or an accredited University degree.
Demonstrated ability to lead contractors, consultants, and vendors.
Proficiency in PMI-based project life cycle using organizational practices.
Understanding and proficiency in construction process, trades, permits.
Proficiency in Tender and RFP process.
Excellent problem-solving skills, requirements gathering and discovery.
Experience delivering projects greater than 20,000 square feet.
Proficiency in AutoCAD for drawing and modifying plans.
Knowledge of furniture systems and commercial interior design programs.
Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent relationship-building skills.
Excellent computer skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
Valid driver’s license and driver’s abstract for review.
Travel to other company locations for assignments or meetings (10-20% of work schedule).
