    We are currently hiring a Forklift Operator - Reach Truck to join our growing team in our new Milton facility. We are looking for a team player.
    The primary responsibility of a Forklift Operator to ensure you are accurately selecting and stacking products correctly based on the customer order list using the Reach, walkie Forklift and RF Scanner.

    Job Location - Milton

    Rate of Pay - $21 per hour $22 after 90 days

    Shift – Monday to Friday - 8:am to 4:30pm

    Objective
    This position is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate processing of products through the warehouse. You are required to effectively operate multiple types of material handling equipment to complete the assigned work. Recordkeeping is necessary to maintain the inventory control system.
    The role has advancement opportunity based on your mastery of skills and functions in the operation.

    Essential functions
    Unload floor-stacked containers onto pallets and prepare for put away
    Move pallets of product from the staging area to the proper storage bins
    Perform internal movement of pallets between storage bins
    Prepare pallets of product for transport including stretch-wrapping and labeling
    Repair, unpack, repack, and label product
    Maintain accurate records of material movements
    Perform assigned facilities maintenance duties and comply with facility cleaning schedule

    Intermediate functions
    Pick and prepare customer orders according to picklist following all relevant information
    Visually inspect and check orders for accuracy and quality standards
    Visually inspect and check inbound deliveries for accuracy and quality standards
    Print/reprint shipping and receiving documents
    Train other associates on safe power equipment operations

    Advanced functions
    Train other associates on processes in an understandable manner
    Perform audits, inspections, cycle counts, and physical inventory
    Investigate inventory discrepancies and irregularities with transactions

    Any other work that is assigned

    Competencies:
    Working knowledge of computer operations
    Proficiency in communicating with others in both written and spoken.
    Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
    Operating skills on various material handling equipment.
    Self-Directed and able to set priority based on the work available or work required.
    Reliability in attendance, punctuality, and productivity.

    Responsibilities
    Responsibilities:
    - Order picking of products and ensuring the orders are picked accurately to avoid errors
    - Operating the forklift reach truck as well as the walkie
    - Once orders are picked you must take them over to shipping to be processed to be sent you
    - Given a list of orders in the day and working independently to pick them
    - Other general labour duties as requested by management


    Qualifications
    Qualifications
    - Must have external forklift license
    - Must have past warehousing and order picking experience
    - Must have past experience operating the reach truck
    - Must be a team player
    - Must be comfortable working independently
    - Must be on time for work with good attendance
