Location: Vancouver, BC (Client based in Richmond)

A key requirement for this role is substantial accounting experience gained specifically within the UK, and this is non-negotiable.
Please note, we will only be considering candidates who have worked on-site in the UK. Candidates with remote-only experience for UK-based companies will not be considered.
Work Hours From Home:
5:00am or 6:00am start time (early start to collaborate with UK office/staff)
Work Hours In Office:
8:00am or 9:00am start time (work with the CAD team here in the office)
Work week will total 40 hours.

Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounting tasks and maintain accurate financial records.
- Collaborate with two accountants based in the UK to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Report to the local CFO in BC, providing regular updates and financial reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support the local and UK teams in various accounting projects and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Must have at least 1 full year of experience working as an accountant in the UK.
- Proven ability to manage accounting functions independently and effectively.
- Strong knowledge of UK accounting principles and practices.
- Knowledge of local accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with remote teams.
- Must be based in British Columbia.
