Responsibilities
Ensure all volume discount agreements are received, signed and properly recorded/coded in the accounting system ;
Maintain up-to-date schedule with customer contact information;
Code and enter new discount proposals into the system as well as update the system with amended agreements;
Pull reports from the accounting system and update monthly, quarterly and annual Excel reports on volume discounts;
Ensure that all volume rebate payments are made in a timely manner according to the frequency set forth in the agreement - on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis;
Prepare and send monthly/quarterly and annual customer reports to customers;
Provide monthly reconciliation of GLG reimbursement accounts;
Provide month-end, quarter-end and year-end analysis related to accrual accounting and volume rebate allowance;
Process journal entries of excess or deficient accrual adjustments;
Respond to customer or sales manager requests;
Qualifications
Advanced knowledge of Excel (SEARCH, pivot tables, etc.);
Completion of a Bachelor of Commerce degree (or in progress) or equivalent;
Quick learning of financial information systems;
2-3 years of accounting/finance experience, preferably with volume discount programs;
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail;
Excellent organizational skills ;
Proven experience meeting strict deadlines and multi-tasking ;
Experience in customer service is an asset;
Bilingual (English and French).
