    Randstad has an immediate contract opportunity for an Accounting Analyst. Located in West Edmonton, with branches across North America, this very busy organization is in need of interim support for the Finance Team. The Accounting Analyst will be responsible for various reconciliations - bank reconciliations, income statements, month-end journal entries, and reporting such as P&L, balance sheet, and cost analysis. Working closely with the existing Finance team - this is a great opportunity to reinforce and strengthen your skills!

    Responsibilities
    Reconciles all bank accounts and prepares periodic and monthly bank reconciliation statements
    Reconciles Balance Sheet Schedules
    Account analysis and prepares corresponding journal entries
    Working papers, variance analysis, cost analysis, and ad-hoc reporting
    Reporting in ERP system and Excel

    Qualifications
    Available immediately
    5+ years of progressive accounting or financial analysis
    Excellent reconciliation and reporting skills
    Proficiency in large ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365, or JD Edwards
    Accounting Degree or Diploma
    Pursuing CPA is considered an asset
