    Are you a strong Inventory Accountant that would like to get involved in every aspect of the finance and accounting cycle?

    Would you like to work for a distribution company catering to the hospitality industry performing 14 million in revenue?

    Do you have a strong inventory costing background?

    This is a relaxed environment with a very warm & friendly corporate culture!

    The location is in Markham...





    Advantages
    - The base salary range is up to 75K
    - Pension program after 1 year - 5% contribution and match up to 3% - can be for a total of up to 8%
    - There is a bonus component to the compensation
    - Paid travel to their US office location near Pittsburgh
    - Working with a seasoned CPA VP of Fiance


    Responsibilities
    Is doing a bit of everything in accounting from bank recs; AR; inventory costing;
    - Updating costs and correcting costs
    - Velocity reports
    - Bill backs - they offer discounts on certain products - they get reporting from distributors
    (They are credits and it is a process).
    - Commissions - inside and outside salespeople need to be calculated
    - Royalties payments
    - Recording payroll
    - Bonus accruals
    - GST/HST filed on a monthly basis
    - Entering payables in the system
    - Assisting the VP of Finance in the month-end close, quarterly and year-end closes.

    Qualifications
    - Post-secondary education with a specialization in finance and accounting
    - Inventory accounting experience
    - Excel is required - pivot tables are critical; advanced formulas
    - 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
