Our Client is looking for an experience Accountant to join their team. We are looking for a person who will take total control of their accounting department. Responsibilities
•monthly financial statements
•monthly bank reconciliation
•prepare bank transfers and wires
•oversee and analyse AP Aging and outstanding AR
•record cash receipts daily
•establishing customer credit limits
•adjusting entries
•file GST & QST returns
•manage our group insurance plan
•knowledge of duty drawback
•payroll bi-weekly
Qualifications
•6+ years of experience in a similar role, and a strong track record of career progression
•Degree in Accounting or related field required
•Strong leadership skills and the ability to solve practical problems
•Proficient Excel and Word skills required
•Strong verbal and written English and French communication skills
•thrive when operating with a high degree of autonomy and high level of organization
