Advantages
- 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday but the work hours are flexible with the start and end time;
- Hybrid work model - currently 1X/week but eventually planning for 2X/week in the office;

- Base salary up to 60K;
- Discretionary bonus of up to 6% of salary which is paid in November;
- Salary review every September 1st;
- Health and dental paid at 90%
- Employees only paid 25% of insurance premium;
- RSP match of up to 4% of salary;
- Education reimbursement of $1500/year
- 3 weeks vacation - after 5 years you go up to 4 weeks vacation;
- Summer Fridays for 8 weeks out of the year - shut down at 1 pm every summer Friday;
- 6 personal days off/year.

Responsibilities
- Prepare invoices and process accounts receivables;
- Perform collections with clients and insurance carriers;
- Cash application of commissions received;
- Process cheques/payables (twice a month);
- Create new vendors and vendor files;
- Update the commission tracker system with payments and new policies;
- Process credit card payments with proper GL coding;
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations;
- Communicate with vendors, clients and insurance carriers;
- Prepare financial reports as requested by the supervisor;
- Reconcile general ledger balances;
- Perform general office duties.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience working in full-cycle accounting - ideally, with a focus on accounts payable and accounts receivable;
- Solid work history track record - we will be seeking strong recent employer management reference contacts;
- Ideally a completed accounting diploma program;
- Intermediate Excel skills - to support documents for the GL accounts - and seeking some formula-based experience.
