Our client's scope of service and client base is wide and diverse, and team members have the opportunity to diversify their experiences and skill sets. Your duties may include:
- Completing a variety of engagements assigned to you, such as T1 and T2 tax returns, Compilation, Review and Audit engagements
- Meeting internal and external deadlines, while staying within the allotted time budget
- Actively participating in ongoing professional development by partaking in firm-wide learning sessions and being open-minded to constant learning and improving
- Engrossing yourself in our client's values and leadership philosophies, and guiding your everyday interaction with staff and clients using these principles
Qualifications
What Might be on Your Resume?
- Completion or near completion of an Accounting program at a recognized post-secondary institution
- Previous accounting co-op experience, particularly in public practice would be an advantage
- Experience with CaseWare/CaseView, Taxprep, and Microsoft Office, whether in an academic or professional setting
Junior roles:
- interest in public accounting;
- Can be out of school;
- Nice if you have co-op public accounting experience;
- Graduated from a university;
- Interested in pursuing CPA.
Intermediate roles:
2 to 3 years of accounting experience.
Excel Skills:
Understand VLOOKUP and pivot tables - more of a grasp
