Salary up to 60K/year
Responsibilities
Perform month-end closing
Responsible for all accounting functions, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Information source for accounts payable and accounts receivable Payroll and benefit administration
Bank and general ledger reconciliations
Maintain fixed assets and prepare depreciation schedules
Inventory reconciliation
Monthly HST / QST / WSIB / Corporate Tax preparation and filing
Preparation of year-end package to auditors Other financial and accounting administration
Qualifications
Post secondary diploma/degree in accounting, finance or related courses, or equivalent experience
A minimum of 5 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
Solid understanding of GAAP
Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook.
Knowledge of Sage 300 ACCPAC would be an asset
Excellent communication skills Interest in financial analysis and demonstrated analytical skills Good time management and organizational skills Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
