Are you a driven accounting professional with previous experience in a medium to large sized organisation? Have you got full cycle accounting and been responsible for month-end reporting? Do you have strong Excel experience? If so, I have a fantastic opportunity located in North York for you!

As the Accountant you you will be responsible for:

• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements
• Account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
• Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
• Assess internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas
• Assist in preparing documents and interpreting complicated financial information for managers
• Assist in the Filling of all required business returns (HST, Source, WSIB, Health etc.)
• Assist in the design and preparation of budgets for review by management

Qualifications
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• CPA designation preferred
• Exceptional communication (both written and verbal) skills.
• Excellent computer skills; Advanced MS Excel skills
• Proficient knowledge and hands on experiences with QuickBooks
• Superior analytical and problem solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy is critical to performance success
