Responsibilities
• Prepare various analysis and journal entries relating to balance sheet and income statement accounts including those related to payroll
• Review journal entries submitted by the Payroll Department on a monthly basis
• Prepare various monthly journal entries related to special projects
• Assist in the review of sales taxes
• Prepare monthly and yearly analytical reviews
• Assist in preparing the Budget and Forecast
• Prepare the files for the year end audit
• Assist the Assistant Controller with analyses and projects.
Qualifications
• University degree in Accounting
• Experience working for a major company
• Experience working with the accounting of payroll transactions
• Minimum 3-4 years related experience in an accounting role
• Bilingual in French and English.
• Strong communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Strong analytical required
• Able to multi task
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
