Responsibilities
Daily posting of entries into the accounting system.
• Prepare weekly payroll.
• Prepare month-end and quarter-end financial statements by the 15th day of the
following month.
• Prepare year-end closing process including preparing accrual journal entries and GL
account reconciliations.
•Full cycle accounting including AP, AR, Bank/Credit Card/Prepaids.
Qualifications
Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a full-cycle Accountant or Bookkeeper.
• Experience working in construction, landscaping, or other project-based industries.
• Experience in all accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, month-end, and year-end
close and preparation of all financial statements.
• Experience with calling clients to collect overdue receivables.
Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of Sage50 or Simply accounting software.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel
