Responsibilities
Check for accurate coding of GL entries, including the allocations of costs
Make appropriate accounting entries to reflect transactions
Check authorizations and account coding
Perform data entry for vendor invoices
Communicate directly with clients to resolve payment and other queries
File processed invoices
Assist in month-end activities such as accrual entries
Generate invoices and account statements
Perform some account reconciliations
Confirming daily deposits with the bank account
Provide other accounting support as required
Qualifications
1+ years' experience with Accounting/Administration
Advanced proficiency with Excel
Experience with working with US/CDN currency
Previous AP/AR and administrative experience is an asset
Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships.
Effective organizational and time management skills.
