    Position: Accounting Analyst
    Area: Town of Mount Royal
    Hybrid position, permanent
    Flexible schedule
    Salary 55-65K according to experience

    Our client in the service industry is currently looking for an Accounting Analyst to join their accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting.

    Responsibilities
    Prepare and record journal entries for the production of monthly financial statements.
    Performs analysis of general ledger items.
    Perform bank reconciliation.
    Produce various analyses in Excel according to the needs of the company (e.g.: analysis of general ledger items, analysis of commission reports)
    Assist in the preparation of annual budgets by taking the history of revenues and expenses, and calculating averages.
    Calculate and allocate certain revenue categories.
    Participate in the preparation of audit files from start to finish (e.g., prepare the back-up for each balance sheet account that has a balance).
    Produce various analyses according to the company's needs

    Qualifications
    DEC, BAC in accounting
    You are familiar with Canadian accounting standards.
    You are proficient in Excel (intermediate to advanced level) and you are comfortable with computer tools (French and English).
    You have a good sense of analysis, you are rigorous and attentive to detail, you are autonomous and you want to produce high quality work.
