Responsibilities
Daily tasks include:
▪ Calculation, reconciliation and analysis of revenues, volume rebates, royalties,
according to the supplier’s / customer’s agreements for billing and month end
accruals
▪ Create and maintain reconciliation schedules between supplier’s / customer’s
agreements and accounting system to ensure completeness
▪ Collaborating with the procurement teams to ensure a good understanding of
contracts and billing requirements
▪ Analysis of variances in financial statements and preparation of month end binders.
▪ Intercompany month end reporting, reconciliation, and reallocations
▪ Monitor the department mailbox and answer any supplier’s requests and questions.
▪ Develop, implement, and document effective process improvements in collaboration
with the Manager
▪ Cross-train with other members of the department to ensure coverage during vacation
period and absenteeism
▪ Collaborate in internal and external audits
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in finance and accounting
- Strong excel ability and good with financial systems
- Experience with Powerbi, Power Query (an asset)
- Experience with financial analysis
- Autonomous, go-getter, positive attitude
