Do you come from Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience? Are you looking to grow in a permanent role with an Innovative organization? Then we might have the perfect opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a candidate with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in Accounts Payable and Receivables. In this position you will be responsible for all day to day processing and monitoring of payments and expenditures within the organization. Ideally we will be looking for someone who has experience in a manufacturing environment. As the Accounting Clerk, you will also be responsible for collection of payments.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Handles all Accounting and reports directly to the Accounting Manager and oversees all daily and weekly reporting functions
Entering invoices and distributing invoices and expense reports to managers on a weekly basis
Receives invoices through mail and email and ensures that all invoices are accurate with no discrepancies.
Ensuring that Accounting ledgers are up to date through posting transactions
- Ensure that vendors are charged for freight, customs and other charges that might be billable
- Work closely with other departments to answer any questions and resolving and credit/invoicing issues
- Collecting any overdue invociesings from customers through email or phone.
- Ensuring that accurate notes are taken in the system and a collection plan is in place of outstanding payments.
- Some Reception coverage might be required
- Ordering office supplies and keeping track of birthdays/company anniversaries.


QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 3-5 years experience in Accounting- both Accounts Payable and Receivables
- Excellent communication and the ability to work with numbers and reports
-Strong teamwork skills while also being able to work independently
- Effective time management is required to be efficient in this role.
