    Position: Accounting Clerk
    Location: Lasalle, Qc.
    Office based
    Salary: 50-65K + benefits
    Flexible schedule


    Our client in the food industry is currently looking for an accounting clerk to join their accounting team in Lasalle. The person will be responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable. Possibility of evolution in the role.

    Responsibilities
    Follow-up of accounts receivable and recording of deposits.
    Calculation of discounts, rebates, commissions, rebates and promotions.
    Follow-up of programs and communications with food chains.
    Special invoices and collections.
    Entering invoices payable in the system;
    Consolidate invoices, delivery notes, purchase orders;
    Verify approvals to appropriate documents;
    Verify the nature of the purchases, the appropriate costs and the established agreements;
    Prepare weekly payments in relation to payment projections;
    Follow up on meat purchases and transportation costs;

    Qualifications
    - Diploma of Vocational Studies in Accounting (DEP) or (AEC)
    - 2 to 3 years of related experience
    - Experience in accounting for a food processing/manufacturing company is an asset
    - English and French
    - Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Outlook
    - Autonomous, reliable and respects confidentiality
    - Ability to meet deadlines
