Attention SR Accounting Clerks in the Stoney Creek area! We are looking for you! We are currently searching for an accounting clerk for a permanent job opportunity in the new home construction industry. So, if you have experience in this industry, do not hesitate on applying as interviews are happening now.

In this role, your responsibilities will be, but not limited to:
• Cross reference cost control sheets to job costs to ensure allocations are correct
• Maintain control sheets
• Follow up, record and log all deposit cheques from home owners
• Reconcile deposits in trust as reported b lawyers
• Record necessary documentations for all house closing
• Reconcile and review job costing to general ledger
• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledgers
• Process accounts receivable
• Supervise accounts payable employee and ensure accuracy
• Monitor payments for rental properties and other projects
• Monthly HST filing
• Bank reconciliations
• Close out month end
• Provide backup to reception and other duties as assigned

What experience do you bring to the table?
• You have at minimum 4 years in accounting and finance
• College diploma in Accounting, Finance
• You have at minimum 1 year experience working as an accounting clerk in the new home construction
• You have at experience with Sage300/Timberline
• You are proficient in MS Office
• Leadership experience
• You are a team player!
