Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers and journals.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy.
- Prepare and verify invoices, bills, and payment documents.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting principles.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and support their needs.
- Handle routine financial calculations and data entry with precision.
- Keep abreast of accounting regulations and best practices.
- Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed.
- Use accounting software and spreadsheets to organize and analyze financial data.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years experience in an accounting clerk role or related field.
- Organizational and attention to detail required to perform activities in a deadline driven environment, working with constant interruptions.
- Excellent command of the English language (verbal and written).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Outlook and MS Excel), and PDF
- Knowledge or experience with software such as SAP, Quickbooks, SimplyAccounting, Yardi
