Responsibilities
- Managing Full cycle accounting processes as per ASPE and IFRS
- Overseeing reconciliation of bank accounts, balance sheet and income statements and resolving variances
- Dealing with external vendors
- Liaising with auditors
- Analyze the existing processes and communicate the results to the executives
- Actively involve in process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Financial Services Experience
- Over 10 years experience in similar roles
- Should have previously managed a team of accountants
- Excellent communication skills/Relationship management skills
- MS Office (advanced) – should be able to manage large volumes of data
- Should have experience working with large ERPs
Nice to Have
- Experience with Securitization accounting
- Experience working on Sage 300
