Accounting Supervisor

Responsibilities
Supervise a staff of 4 AP/AR technicians.
Prepare daily bank reconciliations.
Prepare payroll, group insurance and other various journal entries.
Payment preparations by cheque or electronic funds transfer.
Process monthly employee expense reports.
Ensure Intercompany accounts are in balance.
Create Business Partners in the ERP.
Establish work schedules and procedures and co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments.
Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports.
Identify training needs and train workers in job duties and company policies.


Qualifications
DEC or DEP in Accounting or equivalent relevant education.
Minimum 5 years experience in AP/AR.
Minimum 1-2 years experience in supervisory role.
Bilingual.
Experience using Oracle is an asset.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Organized, attention to detail and the drive to learn.
