Responsibilities
• Processes AP invoices payments, verifying transaction information, scheduling, preparing disbursements, and obtaining authorization of payment
• Maintains updated Vendor and Customer contacts, address, terms, etc.
• Accounts Receivable processing of billing and payments.
• Prepares reports as requested.
• Work closely with the Purchasing Coordinator to verify correct general ledger account against purchase orders
• Verifies accounts by reconciling statements and transactions.
• Secures financial information accurately and in timely fashion.
Qualifications
• 2-4 years of accounts payable and receivable experience
• Post-secondary related education is a plus or hands-on experience
• Ability to handle confidential information in a responsible manner
• Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written .
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) knowledge and exposure.
