Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Reconcile operational and financial inventory reports;
- Categorize the types of operational transactions (adjustments, scrap, ...);
- Validate unit costs and identify variations;
- Prepare operational KPIs;
- Support the accounting team in month-end work;
- Reconcile inventory ledger accounts;
- Explain inventory line item variations in the income statement;
- Prepare and execute tests for warehouse inventory counts;
- Document the results of the counts;
- Participate in the implementation of automated reports related to the inventory;
- Support the team during the audit period;
- All other related tasks.
Qualifications
- Technical background: Your college/technical studies in accounting and/or your experience in the field of distribution/inventory give you the necessary knowledge to undertake new professional challenges;
- Computer expertise: You master the intermediate functions of Excel (Vlookup, Pivot, graphical representations, etc.) and are very comfortable with ERP software packages in accounting. Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is an asset;
- Collaborative spirit: A true team player, you encourage collaboration with your colleagues to facilitate learning. You are able to build strong relationships and become a trusted business partner whose advice is greatly appreciated;
- Time Management: You have a remarkable ability to focus under stress and tight deadlines. You are able to organize your time to ensure that deadlines are met at all times;
- Thoroughness: You are professional and meticulous and pay attention to details, ensuring the accuracy of the information provided at all times;
- Bilingualism (English and French) is required.
